Overview As a Presales Associate Architect, you join Presidio India to support the US Presales Architecture team from day one, focusing on networking and infrastructure design for enterprise clients. You will help build BoMs, assist with RFP/RFI responses, and create diagrams for customer proposals, while learning under senior mentors toward independent presales architecture in 18-24 months. The role combines hands-on design with OEM collaboration and exposure to US deal cycles. You'll leverage AI tools to boost output quality and productivity.
Responsibilities- Support senior architects in designing end-to-end networking and infrastructure solutions (LAN/WAN/SD-WAN/basic security) for US enterprise customers
- Create and validate Bills of Materials (BoMs) using OEM configurators (Cisco CCW, Arista CloudVision/EOS pricing, HP/Aruba tools, Fortinet portal)
- Assist in RFP/RFI response development (research content, populate compliance matrices, document components, format proposals)
- Build solution diagrams and topology maps using Visio and PowerPoint for customer-facing materials
- Gather and document technical requirements from US account managers and senior SAs during discovery; track items and coordinate follow-up with OEM/distribution
- Draft SoW sections and pricing aligned to Presidio PS frameworks
- Coordinate with OEM partner SEs and distributions for pricing, product availability, and guidance
- Maintain presales content repositories (templates, BoMs, SoWs, patterns, OEM trackers)
- Participate in shadow-mode discovery sessions and gain delivery skills with feedback
- Leverage AI tools (proposal co-pilots, BoM automation, GenAI assistants) to accelerate output
- Pursue personal certification roadmap (CCNA, JNCIS, NSE 4) with OEM sponsorship
Key requirements- Networking (Cisco Routing & Switching, CCNA level; LAN/WAN, VLANs, OSPF/BGP basics)
- SD-WAN concepts (Cisco Viptela/Meraki) and Arista EOS familiarity
- HP/Aruba basics; Juniper EX/SRX basics
- NGFW fundamentals (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/FTD); VPN/IPSec concepts; basic Zero Trust awareness
- Cloud foundations (AWS EC2/S3/VPC; Azure VMs/VNet/Azure AD) and hybrid cloud concepts
- Data Center basics (Cisco UCS, Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant; storage basics; VMware vSphere) and HCI (Nutanix)
- Presales tools (Cisco CCW, Dell iQuote, Palo Alto XPERT, Arista pricing tools, HPE GreenLake configurator)
- Microsoft Office for proposals (MS Visio, PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce basics
- GenAI productivity tools for presales (proposal co-pilot, BoM automation)
- Certifications: Required: Cisco CCNA or Juniper JNCIA or Arista ACE-A; Preferred: Palo Alto PCNSA, Fortinet NSE 4, Cisco Meraki CMNA, Dell DCA, HPE ASE Foundation
