Overview In this BIM Coordinator role, you will support the discipline-specific BIM delivery under Architects/Engineers, shaping the digital models and documentation that drive building design. You'll contribute to discipline models, content, and 3D outputs, ensuring accurate, well-coordinated deliverables. The position sits within HDR's Building Engineering Services, contributing to high-performance, sustainable facilities and the digital age. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable precise design and effective communication, helping HDR advance its impact on communities worldwide.
Responsibilities- Assist in developing the discipline model with input from Digital Design, Architectural, or Engineering staff
- Create and maintain discipline models, systems, content, and digital delivery outputs
- Model BIM elements accurately within the current 3D software constraints
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams using the 3D software
- Maintain project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, and sheets
- Produce discipline-specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling output
Key requirements- Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure
- Competency with Microsoft Office products and communication tools
