Overview In this Finance Analyst role, you will support decision making and governance for a major pharmaceutical client through advanced financial analysis and budgeting processes. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to improve cost efficiency and ensure accurate month-end reporting and financial close. You will contribute to standard costing developments for products and support strategic initiatives, including business development and post-acquisition integrations. This position offers exposure to high-impact financial governance in a regulatory, matrixed environment within a leading pharma setting.
Responsibilities- Provide expert financial analysis and present trends to support business objectives and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with Shared Management Accounting Services to ensure timely month-end processes and reporting
- Assist in developing and implementing standard costing for annual cost setting of products and NPI items
- Offer analytical support to strategic activities such as business development and evaluation proposals
- Execute post-acquisition integration activities (e.g., GPS savings tracking, capital cost-savings project tracking)
- Manage financial activities for Oak Hill site to support business strategy and governance
- Review management accounts (actuals, forecasts, budgets) to assist sign-off on income statement and balance sheet
- Foster relationships with functional departments to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure financial understanding
- Assist in corporate approvals and compliance with corporate development and ABAC requirements
- Educate customer groups on financial aspects of business decisions and resource allocations
- Leverage negotiation and conflict-resolution skills in interactions with external partners
Key requirements- Experience in business/functional unit and in a commercial P&L environment
- Demonstrated business skills with integrity and independent judgment
