Mechanical Engineer

In this role you will design and develop mechanical systems for tactical shelters and related mobile platforms used in austere environments. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver field-ready solutions and contribute to installation and fielding activities. As a self-starter, you'll creatively address technical challenges and adapt to project phases, including travel to the Middle East and the USA. • Design and develop mechanical systems for tactical shelters (M/DAOC) and Communications On-The-Move (COTM)
• Utilize SolidWorks for modeling and documentation
• Generate component and assembly drawings and apply GD&T IAW ASME Y14.5
• Support installation and fielding activities
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders across regions
• Travel to the Middle East and within the USA as required

• 5-10 years of Mechanical Engineering experience in Tactical Network systems
• 5+ years using SolidWorks modeling software
• Ability to produce component and assembly drawings
• Strong understanding of drawing dimensioning and tolerancing standards IAW ASME Y14.5
• Proficiency with MS Office
