Overview

As a Specialist, you educate and mentor doctors in dental implant procedures, build partnerships with implant partners, and promote evidence-based practice. You support clinical teams to deliver exceptional patient care while driving practice productivity and business results. You develop implant-related programs and contribute to ongoing education at regional and national levels. Expect substantial travel to support practices and reinforce doctor performance and retention.

Responsibilities
  • Educate, train, and mentor doctors in hands-on implant procedures in-office and through development programs
  • Serve as the clinical contact for implant partners and build essential partnerships
  • Review and integrate evidence-based standards into dental practice
  • Advise on implant treatment plans tailored to patient needs
  • Provide in-office and regional support to doctors and practice teams for high-quality care and productivity
  • Develop and implement implant programs to enhance patient care, productivity, and business results
  • Contribute to implant continuing education programs regionally and nationally
  • Participate in doctor programs and regional market development meetings
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing new implant technologies
  • Collaborate with Field Leadership, HR, Talent Acquisition, and Practice Ownership for doctor retention strategies
  • Monitor revenues and expenditures to meet profit targets for implant procedures
  • Identify underperforming practices and work with doctors to improve performance
Key requirements
  • Dental training from an accredited four-year dental school with a DMD or DDS degree
  • Experience with implants, orthodontics/clear aligners, and restorative procedures
  • Relevant advanced education for specialty areas
  • Minimum of 3+ years clinical experience
  • Ability to travel at least 70%
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and train others
