Overview In this role you will join the Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate onsite in Goleta, contributing to the design and integration of test solutions for Raytheon products. You help manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects across the test product development lifecycle, solving integration and interface challenges in multidisciplinary teams. The work focuses on building robust test systems and interfaces, enabling production and lab testing at scale. This position offers hands-on engineering impact within a mission-driven, defense-focused environment.

Responsibilities- Design, develop, and integrate Raytheon products within TEE in multidisciplinary teams
- Develop engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, drawings, schematics, and circuit designs
- Contribute to all stages of test product development and manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects
- Identify and resolve issues in the development and implementation of test products
- Work collaboratively or independently to deliver test solutions for lab and factory environments
- Support technical documentation and design reviews as part of project execution
- Interface with UUT configurations and existing designs to enable test development
Key requirements- Bachelor in STEM or equivalent with 8 years of relevant experience OR Advanced degree with 5 years of relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (US citizenship required)
- Experience in electrical engineering design, troubleshooting, analysis and test
- Proficiency with electrical design tools: Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic
- Experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, power meters)
- Experience with schematic capture and interpretation
- Experience with IDEs and debugging tools for software troubleshooting
- Strong written and oral communication in technical contexts
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, on-site environment
