Overview

In this role, you will lead content design initiatives to create inclusive, usable digital experiences across Chase's design system. You'll shape customer journeys through scalable content patterns and governance, partnering with design, product, engineering, and risk teams. You'll translate voice, tone, accessibility, and risk requirements into repeatable rules for broad adoption, including AI-enabled interactions. This is a strategic, cross-functional leadership position focused on making complex concepts clear and accessible while advancing inclusive language and customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and evolve scalable content design strategies and processes for design systems and products
  • Run end-to-end discovery workshops with designers, engineers, and product managers to define content architecture
  • Design, structure, and organize content using models and taxonomies to guide users through complex experiences
  • Convert editorial guidance into repeatable rules embedded in workflows, templates, and platforms
  • Champion inclusive language across the customer journey
  • Coordinate lifecycle of shared standards to minimize disruption for downstream teams
  • Define extension approaches for decentralized teams to scale content within guardrails
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in content design, editing, writing, strategy, and scalable standards for digital products and platforms
  • Expertise in storytelling and creating clear content for diverse audiences while adhering to standards and best practices
  • Proficiency in facilitating workshops to align product teams and translate outcomes into durable standards
  • Advanced technical literacy and understanding of content platforms and usability impact
  • Experience in design systems to develop scalable guidance for components, templates, and tooling
  • Experience using AI to improve velocity and quality of technical documentation at moderate to advanced level
