Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop team members; provide feedback and career opportunities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute software-development activities
- Manage recruitment, training, performance assessments, salary planning, and discipline
- Support program development, ensure process compliance, maintain customer focus, and act as technical conscience for programs
- Travel to customer and supplier sites as needed
Key requirements- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science (or related field with significant software development experience)
- Experience with embedded development using a real-time operating system
- Proven ability to manage complex technical embedded software systems/programs
- Process Improvement and Affordability experience
- Software engineering management or team lead experience including planning, budget, and mentoring
