Overview In this role you will lead daily HR activities to support employee relations, benefits, and compliance at NewLane Finance. You will partner with leaders and WSFS HR to address people issues, conduct investigations, and enhance engagement across a hybrid Philadelphia environment. You'll help ensure legal compliance and ethical handling of sensitive information while driving a positive, collaborative culture. Responsibilities- Serve as first point of contact for HR questions and guidance to managers and supervisors
- Conduct end-to-end employee investigations within required timelines
- Consult with department leaders on HR issues, benefits, and performance improvement plans
- Support management to foster employee engagement and commitment
- Coordinate employee events
- Maintain knowledge of applicable labor laws and regulatory requirements; collaborate with counsel as needed
- Serve as primary liaison to WSFS Human Resources
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, management, or related field
- Strong understanding of federal and local labor laws
- Demonstrated business acumen, organizational savvy, good judgment
- Strategic thinker and proactive problem solver with initiative
- Experience in a matrixed HR department with collaboration and teamwork
- Self-starter with a track record of implementing ideas and measuring results
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral and written communication and consultative skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
