Overview In this role you will lead and execute periodic accounting closes, oversee investments and equity across various structures, and act as the primary client contact to ensure satisfaction and timely delivery. You'll guide complex accounting and financial reporting issues under US GAAP and OCBOA, perform advanced research, and provide mentorship to interns and associates. You will manage engagement economics, address training gaps, and pursue business development opportunities. Responsibilities- Plan and execute periodic accounting closes with a team
- Direct accounting for investments and equity across various legal structures
- Serve as primary client contact to ensure satisfaction and deadlines
- Review complex accounting and financial reporting issues under US GAAP and OCBOA
- Perform advanced accounting research with written conclusions
- Supervise and mentor interns, paraprofessionals, associates, and senior associates
- Provide formal and on-the-job training, feedback, and development opportunities
- Manage engagement economics, monitor progress, and address training gaps
- Involve in business development activities (fee estimates, proposals, webinars)
Key requirements- 6+ years in an accounting firm
- 3 years Accounting Advisory/Private Accounting experience
- 4+ years proven leadership managing teams
- Investment accounting and partnership accounting experience preferred
- Bachelor and/or relevant advanced degree; Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field preferred
- Advanced credential (CPA) and/or Masters preferred
- Exceptional client service orientation and deadline management
- Self-starter with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
