Overview As a Senior Bridge Project Manager, you lead design and design-build projects for bridges and transportation structures, ensuring planning, analysis, design, and successful delivery to clients. You will mentor a team of engineers and coordinate with interdisciplinary groups and public agencies. This role blends technical leadership with program management to support Dewberry's infrastructure portfolio in New York. You will influence project outcomes through collaboration, compliance with codes, and effective client engagement.
Responsibilities- Manage design and design-build bridge projects
- Assign tasks to engineers, technicians, and staff
- Mentor, coach, and direct staff engineers
- Plan and coordinate project work
- Manage subconsultants
- Coordinate with NYC, NYS and Federal agencies
- Prepare scope, budgets, and schedules for assignments
- Assist and champion transportation proposals for professional services
Key requirements- BS in Civil Engineering
- NY PE license
- 15+ years of structural engineering experience on bridges
- Experience with NYSDOT, MTA, TBTA, PANYNJ and/or NYCDOT projects
- Design-build experience a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills
