Overview As Industrial Hygienist, you will support environmental management projects at the Savannah River Site, applying exposure assessment and hazard control strategies. You will work within an engagement team to deliver technically defensible IH solutions under varied conditions. You will adapt monitoring plans, document decisions, and respond to evolving radiological and chemical challenges. This role blends hands-on field work with technical analysis in a mission-driven, safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities- Perform traditional industrial hygiene duties with emphasis on exposure assessment, hazards evaluation and controls
- Document exposure assessment decisions and monitoring results
- Support design considerations and modifications related to IH requirements
- Utilize IH monitoring equipment and instruments under challenging conditions
- Translate IH concepts for effective application of hierarchy of controls
- Monitor and document work compliance with program requirements
Key requirements- Consecutive employment in a comparable IH role within the past five years
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate via email and produce well-documented work products
- Must pass WSRC drug and alcohol screening; no prior drug/alcohol convictions (as applicable)
- Security/clearance considerations and U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor in Industrial Hygiene or Occupational Health-related field; CIH preferred
- Operational experience in dynamic environments; ability to assess radiological vs chemical requirements
