Manager, Travel Industry Sales

Overview

In this role you will lead the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies for travel advisor and consortia segments, driving new business and revenue. You will build and nurture relationships with travel industry partners to maximize distribution and park awareness, aligning campaigns with corporate marketing. You'll enable top-tier exposure through programs, events, and trade engagements, and act as a key liaison between brand, marketing, and travel partners. This is an opportunity to shape SeaWorld's travel channel impact and grow attendance through strategic partnerships and co-promotions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain travel industry relationships with agencies and partners
  • Represent SeaWorld at community and business meetings to promote the company
  • Drive demand via travel advisor channels and optimize park positioning
  • Collaborate on marketing co-programs, promotions, and measurement with leadership
  • Manage PRKS Vacations content on VAX VacationAccess and coordinate supplier showcases
  • Build partnerships with external travel agencies and internal teams to drive revenue and attendance
  • Increase brand awareness through trade shows, events, and familiarization tours
  • Partner with brand team to create travel advisor materials across digital and content formats
  • Serve as primary contact for travel advisors and implement SeaWorld-branded promotions
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of relevant business experience
  • 3+ years in marketing within travel, theme parks, tour operators, OTAs, airlines, hotels, or car rental
  • Strong consultative selling and executive-level interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams
  • Proven relationship management and business growth track record
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills; able to meet deadlines
  • High proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
