Overview In this hybrid role you drive lipidomics-driven growth by uniting strategic business development, scientific engagement, and technical marketing. You'll shape partnerships, identify opportunities, and position lipidomics standards and diagnostic-grade materials as market leaders. You work closely with cross-functional teams to turn scientific insights into customer value and strategic growth. The role supports Croda's 2030 Growth Strategy and Avanti's lipidomics leadership.

Responsibilities- Identify and prioritize emerging lipidomics opportunities to fuel growth
- Build and manage a strategic pipeline around lipid standards, biomarker panels, and diagnostic-grade references
- Establish long-term scientific and commercial partnerships beyond transactions
- Serve as technical liaison to principal investigators, lab directors, clinical scientists, and regulators
- Support collaborator programs, alliances, OEM relationships, and co-development in the lipidomics ecosystem
- Develop and review marketing materials for commercial use and shape messaging for leadership in lipidomics workflows
- Deliver technical presentations, webinars, and talks to educate customers and strengthen thought-leadership
- Collaborate with researchers to generate customer success stories, publications, and validation data
- Support global marketing campaigns focused on lipidomics, biomarkers, diagnostics, and translational medicine
Key requirements- Ph.D. or MS in lipidomics, analytical chemistry, Biochemistry, Cell biology, Molecular biology, Pharmaceutical sciences, or related Life Science discipline
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in lipidomics, metabolomics, MS, biomarker development, analytical standards, or clinical diagnostics
- Direct lipidomics research or commercial lipidomics applications experience
- Experience supporting clinical diagnostics, biomarker programs, or laboratory-developed tests
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and ISO 9001/13485/17034 guidelines
- Experience collaborating with academic consortia, government labs, public health agencies, or industry partners
- Existing professional network in lipidomics, metabolomics, MS, or diagnostics
- Strong communication, presentation, and scientific writing skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts for laboratory scientists and analysts
- Collaborative and independent work style with ability to engage across organizational levels
- Good cross-functional collaboration skills
- Track record in developing customer relationships and identifying strategic growth opportunities
- Comfort engaging stakeholders from scientific, operational, quality, regulatory, and executive functions
- Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and scientific writing skills
- Solid understanding of lipid biology and LC-MS/MS workflows
- Knowledge of isotope-labeled standards, reference materials, and calibration strategies
- Familiarity with Chemdraw, Canva, and Microsoft Office suite
