Overview

As Electrical Engineer at Titan Florida's Pennsuco Cement Plant, you will support reliable operation of electrical and automation systems and help minimize maintenance costs. You'll work within the Electrical Department to develop preventive maintenance programs, implement control upgrades, and lead root cause analyses to drive long-term improvements. This role blends hands-on troubleshooting with CAPEX project delivery, aligned with Titan Group's growth and safety commitments. You will have a meaningful impact on plant reliability, efficiency, and safe operations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide maintenance engineering support to the electrical team
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for new and existing equipment
  • Integrate maintenance tasks for new equipment into existing plans
  • Design and implement control system architecture upgrades or enhancements
  • Lead root cause failure analyses for downtime events
  • Ensure reliability by evaluating critical spare parts availability
  • Perform lifecycle analysis and EOL/obsolescence planning
  • Provide technical support to troubleshoot complex electrical/automation equipment (PLC, VFD, HMI, instrumentation)
  • Support power system components (breakers, relays, transformers) and upgrades for reliability
  • Develop and implement CAPEX projects for electrical/automation infrastructure
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to strengthen supply chain
  • Coordinate training sessions for E&I Technicians with the training coordinator
  • Assist Electrical Maintenance Manager with reporting, audits, and planning
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5 years' minimum electrical engineering experience
  • Industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • Experience with PLC, VFD, DCS and HMI
  • Ability to interpret ladder logic, logic diagrams, process flow diagrams, and electrical schematics
  • Basic hydraulics and pneumatics understanding
  • Safety minded with change embrace
  • Knowledge of cement process and lab instrumentation a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and supervisory skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; MS Project experience
  • English reading/writing/speaking required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required
  • Able to work extended hours, holidays, nights, and weekends as needed
