Overview In this role you lead HDR's regional recruitment efforts for the South Central area, directing a team of recruiters and collaborating with regional leaders to align talent acquisition with business goals. You drive strategy, metrics, and university partnerships, while championing diversity and an employee ownership culture. You shape regional TA programs, optimize tools and processes, and actively mentor your team to deliver top talent. This is a hands-on leadership role at a global firm focused on sustainable, impactful infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Lead recruitment efforts for the South Central region and manage a team of recruiters
- Partner with regional leadership to align TA resources with business needs
- Conduct regular meetings, provide recruitment metrics, and prioritize top roles
- Develop and mentor recruiters; serve as escalation point for recruiter questions
- Maximize usage of tools (OMS/JAX, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo) and evangelize existing/future tools
- Balance workloads regionally and collaborate with other Regional Recruiting Directors to implement workshare
- Build university relationships with top regional institutions and drive HDR brand
- Ensure recruiting metrics and KPIs (time to fill, offers, acceptance) are met; participate in strategy refinement
- Promote diversity recruitment efforts and collaborate with diversity resources
- Deliver training on recruitment/talent topics and present TA strategies to recruiters and hiring managers
- Analyze data to support talent acquisition strategies and work with HR on the employee lifecycle
Key requirements- Minimum 7 years of progressive recruitment experience in the region
- Experience leading recruiters as supervisor or mentor
- Expert knowledge of recruitment technologies and strategies
- Strong communication skills (interpersonal, written, presentation)
