Overview

In this role you support a premier commercial real estate capital markets team within a global AmLaw 50 firm. You work on sophisticated CRE finance transactions from start to finish, collaborating with cross-functional colleagues. You help shape complex financings and restructurings while advancing your legal and client-management skills. Responsibilities
  • Represent lenders, borrowers and market participants in senior and mezzanine CRE financings
  • Manage transactions from diligence through execution and closing, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Draft and negotiate loan documents, intercreditor agreements and related financing documentation
  • Advise on securitization, loan acquisitions/dispositions, servicing, and restructurings
  • Collaborate with finance, bankruptcy and restructuring teams on multi-faceted matters
Key requirements
  • JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in relevant jurisdiction in good standing
  • 3-6 years of substantive CRE finance experience
  • Hands-on experience with CRE loans and mezzanine loans
  • Experience as a key deal team member covering diligence to closing
  • Exposure to loan origination, acquisitions/dispositions, securitization, servicing, workouts/restructuring; large law firm experience preferred
  • Strong drafting skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple complex matters
