Overview In this role you will oversee a Corporate Banking credit portfolio, partnering with Relationship Managers to grow revenue through new business and expanded existing relationships. You will underwrite credit exposures, manage risk, and respond to client credit questions, while occasionally supporting sales efforts and client service. The position sits at the intersection of credit discipline and relationship management, enabling you to influence outcomes for corporate clients. Responsibilities- Underwrite diverse credit exposures
- Manage an assigned credit portfolio
- Close new business and expand existing relationships
- Monitor and manage credit risk
- Respond to prospect/customer credit inquiries
- Conduct independent calls on portfolio relationships
- Provide customer service and participate in joint sales calls with Relationship Managers
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Eight+ years of relevant experience
- Extensive knowledge of commercial/corporate lending and credit standards, policies, procedures and products
- Strong relationship management and business development skills
