Overview As an Electrical Engineer on the Spectacles team, you will own hardware design and validation for wearable electronics, guiding PCB/Flex layouts and prototype development. You'll work closely with RF, firmware, and product teams to ensure robust power, signaling, and reliability across environments. This role offers hands-on hardware development with global supplier collaboration and a chance to impact Snap's next generation of AR devices. You'll contribute to a collaborative, cross-functional culture and help drive high-quality, consumer-grade electronics at scale.

Responsibilities- Own schematic design and layout review for PCB, Flex and Rigid Flex designs
- Test and validate electrical designs across power, signal integrity, and interfaces
- Debug hardware issues with senior engineers and perform failure analysis
- Analyze circuits across process, variability and temperature
- Develop electronic prototypes for new product concepts
- Collaborate with RF, Product Design, Firmware, and cross-functional teams throughout development
- Travel up to 20% to support on-site builds with external suppliers and partners
Key requirements- BS/BA in Electrical Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of relevant electrical or hardware engineering experience
- Experience in electronic design including component selection and schematic design
- Familiarity with low power/battery operated designs
- Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, battery simulators, DMMS, vector network analyzers)
