Transformer Engineer - Staff

As an Intermediate Engineer at DTE Energy, you will evaluate and apply standard engineering methods to support operation and maintenance of company assets. You'll work with teams of engineers, technicians, and field staff to develop practical solutions within time and budget constraints. You'll analyze data, build models, and present findings to management and external stakeholders. This role offers opportunities to influence engineering design, problem solving, and process improvements in a collaborative, safety conscious environment.

• Perform engineering assignments and propose solutions to engineering problems.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to implement timely, budget-conscious solutions for asset operation and maintenance.
• Assist on defined problems with field engineers and provide follow-up support.
• Develop models and analyze data to recommend process or program improvements; present results to management and external parties.
• Stay current on technology and market trends to inform decisions.
• Provide field engineering support as needed.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
• minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
