Overview As Production Line Lead, you oversee an assigned line and lead hourly staff to execute production and logistics plans with a focus on safety, quality and regulatory compliance. You report to the Production Supervisor and act as second in command, driving line efficiency, coaching operators, and resolving issues. You monitor schedules, participate in shift changes, and uphold lean practices to meet daily production standards. You contribute to Ferrero's commitment to care, quality, and consumer-centric products by enabling reliable, compliant operations.
Responsibilities- Lead execution of production and logistics plans with operators and labor
- Create and monitor employee line schedules
- Develop and implement plans/policies to ensure compliance
- Operate production lines per FDA guidelines, GMPs, HACCP/SQF
- Coach operators in production and logistics activities (receiving, processing, baking, packaging, shipping)
- Perform daily line inspections using standard work and documentation
- Participate in shift change management and daily production standards
- Lead and coach staff to meet quality KPIs
- Communicate and help resolve operational issues
- Participate in Lean trainings as a model for employees
- Maintain regulatory compliance and food safety processes, including allergen control, pest control, safety policies, and sustainability standards
Key requirements- High School GED/Equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
