Senior Lead Architect

Overview

In this role, you will shape target state architecture across product families within Infrastructure Platforms International Services. You will guide technology choices, governance, and secure delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors. You'll leverage enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate architecture analysis, with human-in-the-loop validation. This position offers impact at scale, influencing design, operations, and program governance in a global banking environment.

Responsibilities
  • Represent a product family in technical governance bodies and propose governance improvements
  • Provide technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors
  • Leverage AI capabilities to accelerate architecture analysis with human-in-the-loop validation
  • Guide evaluation of current and new technologies using standards and frameworks
  • Drive decisions influencing product design, functionality, and operations
  • Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others' code
  • Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert and advocate for software development lifecycle practices
  • Promote reuse-first, AI-assisted governance and reporting with human review
  • Use AI capabilities to accelerate program planning and risk synthesis with appropriate data handling
Key requirements
  • Formal training or certification on architecture concepts
  • 5+ years of applied experience
  • Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages and deep expertise in software architecture, applications, and technical processes (cloud, AI/ML, mobile)
  • Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support program management with validation and data sensitivity awareness
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans and escalate when uncertain
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to shape future state architecture
