Overview In this role you will lead end-to-end cybersecurity for the Diagnostics Platform, translating global security strategy into measurable outcomes. You will build and guide a globally distributed security team, embedding enterprise controls across OpCos and connected medical devices to protect patient safety and regulatory compliance. You will shape risk management, assurance, and product security programs across multiple sites and countries, driving continuous improvement in a highly regulated environment. Responsibilities- Own end-to-end cybersecurity execution across all Diagnostics OpCos globally and serve as the platform's senior cybersecurity executive
- Build, lead, and develop a globally distributed Platform Security Team spanning multiple security domains
- Own the platform risk register, risk management, vulnerability prioritization, remediation, and architecture standards
- Lead platform cyber assurance including audits and certifications (ISO 27001, HITRUST, SOC 2, PCI DSS) and security questionnaires
- Coordinate with central Product Security on FDA premarket cybersecurity, postmarket vulnerability management, SBOM, and PSIRT operations
- Drive cyber diligence and onboarding for M&A, including data protection and governance across data estates
- Secure OT and manufacturing environments, and run the cyber PMO across time zones with KPI reporting and continuous improvement
- Travel up to 25-30% of the time, including international travel to Diagnostics OpCo sites
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 12+ years of information security experience
- Experience as a CISO, Deputy CISO, or equivalent senior cyber leader responsible for end-to-end programs
- Experience leading security in a decentralized, multi-business-unit, global environment
- Experience owning cybersecurity certifications and audits (ISO 27001, HITRUST, SOC 2, PCI DSS) and handling third-party assurance at scale
- Experience partnering on product security for connected medical devices and regulatory cybersecurity requirements (FDA, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions cyber diligence and post-close integration
