Overview

In this role you will lead financial services audit engagements from planning to completion, guiding staff and strengthening client relationships. You'll manage multiple engagements across offices, coordinate with senior team members, and ensure GAAP compliance and high-quality delivery. You'll contribute to client service excellence within a collaborative, growth-focused culture and mentor team members. This position offers opportunities for leadership development and cross-office collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Lead audit, review, or compilation engagements from planning through completion to deliver high-quality client service
  • Oversee day-to-day engagement operations including staffing, risk assessment, fieldwork, and financial reporting
  • Supervise and mentor engagement staff and maintain open communication with the engagement partner
  • Collaborate with team to resolve client issues and advise on legal, regulatory, and accounting matters
  • Manage multiple engagements concurrently across teams to meet deadlines
  • Create and monitor engagement budgets and identify potential inefficiencies
  • Participate in professional development programs as instructor or discussion leader
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license
  • At least 3 years of public accounting experience with leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
  • Experience auditing healthcare systems and hospitals is preferred but not required
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills with ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills with excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities
