Overview

In this role, you drive product strategy and the vision for digital money movement within our banking platform. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value through scalable, secure products and excellent experiences. You own end-to-end lifecycle activities from discovery to launch and optimization, shaping how clients move and manage funds. This is a high-impact role at a leading financial institution, offering opportunities to influence core payment capabilities and regulatory-aligned delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Develops product strategy and vision to deliver customer value
  • Leads discovery and market research to inform the roadmap
  • Owns and maintains the product backlog aligned with the strategic roadmap
  • Builds framework and tracks key success metrics (cost, features, risk, reliability)
  • Act as product owner in agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, demos, release readiness)
  • Translates client and business needs into clear product briefs with scope, requirements, dependencies, risks, success metrics
  • Drives cross-functional execution across engineering, architecture, UX, data, operations, and risk/compliance
  • Leads end-to-end initiatives across payments capabilities (initiation, approvals, tracking, onboarding, reconciliation, reporting)
  • Builds and tracks adoption, conversion, SLT/latency, control health; iterates from insights
  • Ensures designs meet regulatory, risk, auditability, data governance, resiliency expectations; manages issues and escalations
  • Drives release readiness, leadership updates, and enablement for coverage, service, and implementation teams
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or relevant domain
  • Advanced knowledge of product development lifecycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead lifecycle activities from discovery to value management
  • Hands-on experience launching or contributing to 1-2 payments products/capabilities (ACH, Wires, Zelle, SEPA, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of corporate payments flows and operating considerations (approvals, entitlements, reconciliations)
  • Ability to deliver complex initiatives with multiple dependencies across tech, operations, risk, and implementation partners
  • Ability to influence across senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Strong working knowledge of agile practices and tooling (backlog management, story writing, sprint execution)
