Overview

As an IT Audit Manager, you will strengthen Invesco's risk oversight by leading technology and cybersecurity-focused audits across global products and processes. You collaborate with business leaders and data analytics to deliver risk-based, innovative assurance and advisory services. You will shape audit planning, testing strategies, and issue resolution, driving continuous improvement through data-driven methods. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge tech topics (AI, cloud, API security) within a supportive, growth-focused culture. You will partner with cross-functional teams to safeguard key systems and information, contributing to the firm's resilient operations.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze risk and draft internal audit plans for assigned areas
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate audit and advisory engagements
  • Collaborate with leaders to deliver innovative audit approaches
  • Design and execute testing strategies focused on internal controls
  • Supervise staff or contractors, review workpapers, and manage engagements
  • Evaluate issues, determine root causes, and assess impact
  • Prepare management-facing results and conduct exit meetings
  • Monitor follow-up on action plans and results
  • Assess technology and cybersecurity risks, including AI, cloud, data protection, and third-party risk
  • Work with Data Analytics to apply analytics, automation, and AI for risk assessment and reporting
  • Train and mentor junior team members
Key requirements
  • Minimum 5-7 years in technology audit, consulting, or information security
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance (preferred)
  • Professional auditing, security, or technology designation preferred
  • Experience in asset management or securities industry a plus
  • Experience auditing enterprise and web apps, cybersecurity, privacy, API security, and related platforms
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and security controls (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake)
  • Experience with data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled audit techniques
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with IT controls frameworks (COBIT, NIST, ISO27000, OWASP)
