Overview

In this role you help clients in the financial services sector by delivering robust valuation services for loans, portfolios, and financial instruments. You will guide scope, model cash flows, and ensure high-quality, compliant outputs in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position combines client interaction, project leadership, and mentoring to grow the EVS practice. You will contribute to shaping risk-aware valuation solutions at a leading professional services firm with strong culture and development opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver valuation services for a broad set of financial assets and liabilities in financial services
  • Perform and review cash flow modeling for loan portfolios with credit loss, prepayment, and discount rate assumptions
  • Define engagement scope, oversee day-to-day activities, ensure quality and risk control
  • Support fair value measurements for financial reporting and transaction purposes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Build and maintain client relationships, assist in business development, and coordinate with other practices
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop staff with timely feedback
  • For Senior Manager: manage engagement risk, pricing, budgeting, and collections; drive practice growth and initiatives
  • Lead methodology development, quality control, and training on credit and loan portfolio valuation topics
Key requirements
  • Minimum five years of recent experience in financial advisory and valuation
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related field
  • Progress toward ABV credential; need to obtain within one year if not yet progressed
  • Hands-on experience in financial services valuation, particularly credit/loan portfolio analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; strong analytical and financial modeling abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and client relationships
  • Familiarity with CECL or loan accounting with loan portfolio valuation preferred
  • Experience with fair value measurements for financial reporting or transaction support; data processing tools preferred
