Overview As Senior Accountant at Flex, you will help establish and scale the financial reporting framework for SpinCo, a new public company emerging from Flex's Cloud and Power segment. You will lead SEC reporting, disclosures, and policy updates during the company's formative stage. You will partner with finance, legal, and auditors to ensure accuracy, compliance, and robust internal controls. Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and file SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) with focus on footnotes and MD&A
- Compile and analyze financial/nonfinancial data for disclosures; coordinate across finance, legal, and business partners
- Research new SEC/FASB requirements and update disclosures and accounting policies
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors; prepare documentation for SEC reporting and audits
- Support SOX compliance, including control documentation, checklists, and variance analyses
- Assist with equity, stock-based compensation, EPS, goodwill, acquisitions, and other complex transactions
- Support special projects and process improvements in external reporting and corporate accounting activities
Key requirements- 5+ years of financial reporting/accounting experience in a public company or public accounting firm
- US GAAP knowledge; SEC reporting familiarity; 10-Q/10-K mechanics
- CPA license preferred
- Experience with OneStream and Workiva preferred
- Strong analytical, detail-orientated problem-solving skills
