Overview As Director of Business Development, you drive growth by expanding referral networks with physicians and key non-physician sources. You collaborate across hospital teams and management to align referrals with the center's mission and revenue goals. You'll implement marketing and retention strategies, manage Salesforce activity, and lead a team to optimize service line uptake. Responsibilities- Develop and retain physician and non-physician referral sources through education and collaboration with hospital staff and management
- Collaborate with sales leadership to promote service line attributes and outcomes to consumers, physicians, and facilities
- Analyze market utilization data for facility service lines and adjust strategies accordingly
- Build strong relationships with admissions/intake to streamline referrals
- Create and execute a comprehensive internal/external marketing plan to increase revenues
- Ensure referral priorities align with organizational vision and strategic goals
- Document all activities in Salesforce and monitor progress with regular reports
- Close new referral sources through face-to-face meetings and follow-ups to ensure understanding of services available
- Provide staff management including hiring, development, and performance management to support department operations
- Prepare and present reports identifying trends, opportunities, and retention obstacles
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree required
- Five or more years of healthcare business development experience
- One or more years of supervisory experience
