Overview In this role, you lead design and permitting efforts for oil & gas projects in the Carolinas, coordinating cross functional teams and maintaining strong client engagement. You work independently with management support, proactively addressing challenges to deliver on project goals. You'll influence environmental, cultural, and utility permitting processes while expanding our presence in the Energy Market. This is a growth-minded, impact driven opportunity.

Responsibilities- Lead cross-functional teams for design and permitting of natural gas transmission and distribution projects
- Direct environmental, natural resource, and cultural resource evaluations for projects in new and existing corridors
- Oversee full project lifecycle: safety, risk, quality, schedule, budget
- Conduct on-site reviews and maintain client engagement to exceed expectations
- Develop environmental and non-environmental permit packages (Erosion & Sedimentation Control, Floodplain, DOT Encroachments, Utility Encroachments) and perform design work for pipelines and facilities
- Collaborate with leadership to pursue new project opportunities and create proposals
Key requirements- 6+ years civil engineering experience in the energy market with onshore oil & gas experience
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams with strong communication and organizational skills
