Overview In this senior role you will drive region-wide growth and client relationships for the Innovation Banking segment, guiding a team of Commercial Bankers and related staff to expand loan and deposit portfolios. You'll balance hands-on client engagement with coaching, credit structuring, and portfolio health management to meet strategic targets. The position combines leadership with business development across cross-functional partners, shaping market strategy and risk-aware delivery at scale.

Responsibilities- Lead a team of Commercial Bankers, Business Development Officers, and Portfolio Management staff to expand market share and deepen customer relationships
- Guide credit structuring, portfolio health management, and market responsiveness for the team
- Drive regional or business-line growth in loans and deposits; support national leadership in strategy execution
- Oversee transaction pitches, term sheet negotiations, and senior loan committee presentations
- Foster relationships with executive stakeholders across Credit Administration, Risk Management, and other internal teams; ensure compliance and efficient processes
- Hire, coach, and develop team members; manage performance and training initiatives
Key requirements- 9+ years of related experience or equivalent field
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Advanced to expert knowledge of general banking operations and commercial banking products/services
- Advanced to expert knowledge of regulatory and compliance obligations
- Advanced knowledge of commercial credit, loan structuring, and pricing dynamics
- Strong speaking and writing communication skills
- May require up to 50% travel
