Overview In this role you drive translational biomarker programs to connect preclinical insights with clinical outcomes in autoimmune diseases. You will shape translational strategy, lead cross-functional biomarker work, and collaborate with CROs and external partners to develop assays. You'll communicate data-driven insights to internal and external stakeholders and contribute to regulatory documentation. Responsibilities- Lead and manage biomarker projects to test translational hypotheses and define strategy in the autoimmune space
- Monitor milestones and progress across projects and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Analyze and present biomarker data across functions and to external audiences
- Collaborate with CROs and external partners on development of biomarker assays (immunoassays, flow cytometry) and monitor sample analysis
- Support authoring/translating translational medicine content in clinical/regulatory documents (development plans, protocols, study reports, responses to questions)
- Act as a scientific thought-leader and connect internal teams with current biomedical literature
- Work in compliance with company values, policies, and regulations
Key requirements- PhD (or MD) in immunology/rheumatology and molecular biology or related field
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Minimum 4 years' biotech/pharma biomarker development experience
- Strong knowledge of autoimmune disease pathogenesis and molecular technologies for program decisions
- Proven project management skills and track record of delivering projects
- Experience working with CROs to develop immunoassays and flow cytometry panels and manage sample analysis
- Excellent oral and written communication, including high-quality slide decks, reports, publications, and presentations
- Ability to work with global, multidisciplinary teams
- Data analysis and visualization with R or similar
