Overview As a Project Engineer in Kennedy Jenks' water/wastewater practice, you will design and analyze projects, lead smaller initiatives, and support cross-disciplinary teams from conception through construction. You'll collaborate with project engineers and managers to deliver water, wastewater, and treatment-improvement work. The role blends technical design with project coordination and client interaction in a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities- Design and analysis: prepare detailed designs, specs and drawings with guidance from senior staff
- Technical support: provide expertise to multi-disciplinary project teams
- Documentation: write technical reports and maintain project records
- Project management: support projects end-to-end, lead smaller projects and participate in meetings
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related scientific discipline
- 5+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience
- PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil3D, and Microsoft products
- Strong communication and professional interaction with internal teams and clients
