Overview

As a Relationship Manager in Global Supplier Services, you drive strategic growth by optimizing third-party spend and strengthening firmwide banking relationships. You will operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting, shaping sourcing strategy and delivering value for senior stakeholders. You'll work with Governance, Sourcing, and Banking teams to navigate complex structures, influence deals, and ensure compliant, data-driven decisions. This is an opportunity to impact franchise relationships at a leading financial institution.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and execute strategies to grow and protect client relationships and convert prospects into clients
  • Navigate matrixed organizations to align on strategy across Banking, Sourcing, and lines of business
  • Influence sourcing decisions to optimize cost, delivery, and franchise relationships
  • Support relationship management activities including issue remediation, escalation handling, and business development exploration
  • Prepare leadership briefings by analyzing supplier relationships
  • Conduct due diligence and data analysis to inform business decisions
  • Apply commercial judgment in shaping strategy and decision-making
  • Communicate effectively with executives and manage key relationships
  • Ensure activities comply with policies and procedures
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in banking, sourcing, business development, or relationship management
  • Expertise in sourcing processes and Procure to Pay lifecycle
  • Familiarity with banking products
  • Experience working with senior management in financial industry
  • Excellent executive communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
  • Confident, collaborative working style capable of earning trust with stakeholders
  • Discretion, professionalism, and sound decision-making for senior-level interactions
  • Creative problem-solving for complex challenges
  • Self-starter with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
