Overview In this role, you will drive indirect marketing sourcing and vendor management initiatives for ADT, overseeing hundreds of millions in annual spend. You will partner with internal stakeholders to craft category strategies, optimize costs, and strengthen supplier performance while mitigating risk. By leading cross-functional RFPs, contract terms, and governance, you will influence campaign execution and vendor relationships. This position offers impact across marketing operations and strategic sourcing at scale.
Responsibilities- Support indirect marketing categories including agencies, media, marketing technology services, PR, and events
- Lead marketing-related sourcing across paid media, creative/production, PR, influencer platforms, referrals, market research, sponsorships, and martech
- Develop category strategies balancing cost, speed to market, brand impact, and supplier innovation
- Structure RFPs, SLAs, and contract terms with stakeholders to protect ADT and enable campaigns
- Lead sourcing engagements: define requirements, identify suppliers, negotiate, and contract for high-value outcomes
- Manage and drive strategic sourcing projects to optimize value and processes
- Oversee sourcing bid events (RFP/RFI) and related tools/processes
- Evaluate supplier proposals and recommend final selections to gain stakeholder buy-in
- Deliver supplier performance management aligned with governance and scorecards
- Track vendor performance, escalate issues, and drive corrective actions
- Align vendor strategies with business objectives to identify cost optimization opportunities
- Mitigate vendor-related risks and maintain records for leadership reporting
- Provide thought leadership on innovative indirect sourcing methods
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in related field with at least five years in Strategic Sourcing or Vendor Management
- Deep understanding of category management, SRM, and marketing supplier relations
- Experience leading RFPs and negotiations for Marketing stakeholders
- Knowledge of marketing contracts (SOWs, usage rights, data/privacy, IP, SLAs)
- Experience with vendor management programs, governance, and risk mitigation
- Working knowledge of vendor management systems and reporting practices
- Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- MBA or Master's degree preferred; professional certifications (CPM, CPSM, CPSC, PMP) preferred
