Overview In this role you will lead the design and delivery of Power BI-based analytics across the organization. You will guide cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable BI solutions that drive informed decision-making. You will oversee data modeling, integration, and governance to ensure accuracy and performance. This position offers a chance to shape a Power BI Center of Excellence and mentor a growing analytics talent pool.
Responsibilities- Lead architecture, design, and development of Power BI solutions (data models, reports, dashboards, dataflows)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions
- Develop scalable, reusable Power BI solutions following best practices
- Design robust data models ensuring data accuracy and performance
- Integrate data from on-premises, cloud, and external APIs into Power BI
- Optimize data models for performance and efficient data retrieval
- Create advanced DAX formulas and Power Query transformations
- Develop visually appealing, user-friendly reports and dashboards with actionable insights
- Implement advanced features (drill-through, bookmarks) to enhance UX
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to align BI with analytics initiatives
- Provide mentorship to junior developers and analysts
- Lead workshops and training to promote Power BI adoption
- Establish and enforce governance (naming, security, lifecycle management)
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy regulations, and standards
- Stay updated on Power BI features and best practices and drive adoption
- Identify opportunities to enhance BI solutions and processes
- Monitor performance and scalability of BI solutions
- Contribute to a Power BI Center of Excellence (CoE)
- Travel to client locations in the U.S. as needed

Key requirements- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven knowledge of Power BI, DAX, Databricks, SQL, SSRS, MicroStrategy, Qlik, Cognos, Azure Data Stack, Snowflake, and DBT
- Ability to gain knowledge prior to or concurrent with Master's degree
- Willingness to travel 30% to client sites in the U.S.
