Overview As a Production Supervisor, you drive daily operations on the shop floor, shaping safety culture and production performance. You lead a dedicated hourly team, ensuring high-quality output while meeting targets. You will apply data-informed decisions to reduce downtime and defects and mentor your team toward continuous improvement. Responsibilities- Champion workplace safety and enforce regulations
- Lead and develop an hourly production team to meet quality and output goals
- Prioritize tasks and allocate resources to maximize efficiency
- Act with bias for action to address safety and quality issues promptly
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture
- Utilize data to reduce downtime and defects and drive efficiency
- Identify and eliminate process inefficiencies through continuous improvement
- Resolve conflicts effectively and maintain positive working relationships with team, suppliers, and union partners
- Ensure accountability for processes and standards and act decisively to sustain performance
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to drive improvements
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3-7+ years of supervisory, manufacturing, military, or relevant experience
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends
- Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls
- Lean / Six Sigma and/or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) experience (preferred)
