Overview As a Manufacturing role at BD, you drive process standards and equipment efficiency within the manufacturing unit. You will develop technical knowledge, coach teams in continuous improvement, and lead change controls to sustain high OEE and product quality. You'll partner with cross-functional peers to ensure safe operations and robust processes that meet unit objectives. This role offers hands-on impact in a global medical technology leader focused on health at scale.
Responsibilities- Implement and sustain BDPS work processes in the manufacturing unit
- Identify critical equipment settings and establish standards
- Create and transfer technical knowledge to operators and technicians
- Coach associates in continuous improvement methodologies
- Analyze top losses, implement plans to eliminate losses and boost OEE
- Manage manufacturing unit change control including validation, root cause analysis, and handling quality events
- Ensure safety and product quality in operations
- Ensure new processes and improvements meet unit objectives
- Maintain equipment efficiency and overall plant performance
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical)
- Two years of medical manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Three years of manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Solid communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work in a team
