Overview In this role you will lead scope definition and tasking for Control Accounts in a hardware-focused defense program, aligning resources and timelines with program objectives. You will manage CA budgets, schedules, and EVM data, driving actionable insights and corrective actions across multiple functional teams. You'll support proposals and PMO activities, collaborate with IPTs, and ensure alignment with IMS and IPMR reporting. Responsibilities- Lead scope definition for Control Accounts (CA) and decompose deliverables with the project team
- Plan and execute hardware-centric CA tasks and resource needs to sustain program objectives
- Coordinate CA-focused activities across multiple functional groups and manage staffing with functional managers
- Direct technical/functional resources to perform CA-related work
- Review labor reports, analyze EVM data at WP/CA level, and track budget/schedule (SPI, CPI, TCPI)
- Own CA budgets and schedules, including BEI/CEI, BCRs, ETC generation, and cost validation
- Review/approve CA Work Authorizations (CAWAs) and input data into the EVM tool (LENS)
- Support proposals with schedule, cost, and resource inputs; participate in risk/issue/opportunity review
- Evaluate program metrics, coordinate with schedulers, and manage risk and opportunities at the CA level
- Identify process gaps and propose improvements; lead change management with IPT and Change Control Board approvals
- Assist PMO in mitigating cost, schedule, and technical risks related to materials
- Foster cross-team coordination and communication across the program
- Coordinate near-term schedules with Manufacturing and support business development activities
Key requirements- BA degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated CAM or EVM experience
- Knowledge of IMS, PMB, change management, work authorization, EACs, and corrective actions
- Experience with IPMR/IPMDAR reporting and WBS, IMS, and work authorizations
- Understanding of cost and schedule development, variance analysis, and recovery planning
- Experience with ETC and EAC development, baseline change control, and monthly schedule status
- Ability to work independently and in a team; strong EVMS integration and risk management
- Collaborates with multiple program functions and coordinates with Manufacturing
