Audit Data Analyst - Senior Auditor (I)

Overview

In this role you will independently design and run advanced audit analytics to address complex business and control questions. You'll blend data, business, and risk insight to craft tests and reusable solutions, interpreting results to drive actionable recommendations. You'll work across Audit, business, data, and technology teams to advance continuous auditing, automation, and modernization of Audit Analytics. Your analytics work will support cross-functional decision-making and strengthen risk controls within a mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute data-driven analytic tests for audits
  • Collaborate with audit, business, data, and technology teams to design analytics approaches
  • Analyze and interpret results clearly and concisely
  • Track progress of analytic tests and escalate as needed to leadership
  • Prepare communications and present audit analytics findings to teams and leadership
  • Support data literacy and ongoing professional development within the team
  • Champion data-driven analytics transformation and modernization of practices
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in Quantitative Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science, or related quantitative field or 4 years of relevant education/experience
  • 4 years' experience with analytic coding techniques and visualization tools
  • 2 years' experience with SAS, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, RPA, Power BI or similar
  • 2 years' experience in data and analytics within an audit, risk, or controls environment
  • 1 year experience creating reporting dashboards and summarizing actionable results
  • Ability to break down complex problems and communicate analysis and control recommendations with integrity
