Overview In this role you will lead life sciences marketing within the firm's Business Unit Marketing Team, shaping strategy that translates commercial objectives into marketing and client development plans. You will partner with practice leadership to craft narratives for directories, guide market intelligence, and define GTM content across campaigns. You'll oversee high-impact pitches, create ready-to-use marketing materials, and assess sponsorship ROI to drive opportunities. This position offers visibility across cross-functional teams and a pathway to mentor others while advancing the firm's life sciences agenda.

Responsibilities- Direct the narrative strategy for legal directories and rankings
- Lead market and competitive intelligence to inform strategy
- Define content requirements for practice-led GTM programs
- Shape strategy and messaging for complex RFPs and pitches
- Oversee development of practice-specific marketing materials
- Assess sponsorship ROI and strategic fit for opportunities
- Coordinate post-engagement activities to convert events into pipeline
- Partner with Content & Creative to leverage thought leadership
- Supervise and mentor direct reports; manage staffing and time
- Contribute to hiring, performance reviews, and employee lifecycle events
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- 7+ years in marketing or business development with 2+ years in a management role
- Life sciences industry experience required
- Professional services or B2B marketing experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and lead initiatives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and iManage; adaptable to firm applications
- Ability to travel and work extended hours as needed
- Bachelor's degree preferred
