Overview As Account Manager, you will serve as the primary contact for key manufacturing accounts, driving long-term relationships and cross-functional execution. You will support commercial activities, resolve issues, and align internal teams to customer programs. You will own RFQs, quotations, and pricing discussions while forecasting and planning to meet business objectives. This role thrives on ownership, customer insight, and delivering value within an industrial setting. You will shape account performance and contribute to broader growth goals.
Responsibilities- Manage and strengthen existing customer relationships
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally and the voice of the company externally
- Coordinate RFQs, quotations, pricing activities, and customer requests
- Partner with internal departments to resolve quality, delivery, and commercial issues
- Conduct account reviews, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Monitor customer satisfaction and identify opportunities to improve account performance
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the product lifecycle
Key requirements- Account management experience within a manufacturing environment
- Automotive OEM, Tier 1, or Tier 2 supplier experience
- RFQ ownership, quotation preparation, and proposal management
- Commercial experience including pricing, contract discussions, profitability reviews, and customer negotiations
- Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Manufacturing
- Experience managing customer issues, quality concerns, engineering changes, and ongoing account support
- Strong customer relationship management and communication skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and business reporting tools
- Experience conducting business reviews, forecasting, and account planning
