Overview In this senior design leadership role, you shape and scale UX teams for Amazon Ads, guiding product experiences that connect brands with customers at scale. You'll own design strategy across the Ads platform, partner with product, engineering, and leadership, and drive end-to-end design from concept to launch. You'll mentor designers, build governance and design systems, and contribute to AI-powered workflows that improve advertiser journeys. Responsibilities- Define and execute the design strategy and roadmap for the Ads platform in collaboration with product, engineering, and business leadership
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing design organization with mentoring and career development
- Drive design operations with scalable processes and tools to maintain quality and velocity
- Lead end-to-end design initiatives from problem framing to production launch with measurable outcomes
- Create industry-leading experiences across campaign builders, dashboards, and AI-powered workflows
- Partner with cross-organizational stakeholders to unify experiences and accelerate innovation
- Establish design governance, patterns, accessibility standards, and scalable design systems
- Present design vision and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and external partners
- Mentor emerging leaders and foster psychological safety and continuous learning
- Ground design decisions in data, research, and advertiser workflows to drive customer obsession
Key requirements- 12+ years of professional design experience
- 8+ years leading design teams
- Proven expertise in AdTech, B2B enterprise UX, SaaS platforms, or similar complex workflows
- End-to-end product design experience from discovery to production
- Strong ability to communicate design concepts to executives, engineers, and stakeholders
