Overview In this role you will drive strategic sourcing for Adobe's Marketing function, partnering with Marketing, Brand, and Communications to deliver measurable value. Responsibilities- Develop and own category strategies for marketing-related areas (creative, production, events, media, PR, sponsorships, content creation, AI/martech).
- Translate multi-year marketing plans into sourcing roadmaps, identifying consolidation or new commercial models.
- Own and report savings delivery, tracking against targets and communicating progress to Finance and Senior Leadership.
- Structure agency compensation and vendor pricing to secure verified savings and favorable terms.
- Negotiate complex contracts with agencies, media partners, and technology vendors, including pricing and scope terms.
- Mitigate risks in the marketing supply base, including data privacy and IP usage concerns.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Risk, and Data Privacy for contract structure and compliance.
- Create and maintain playbooks, RFx frameworks, and negotiation guides for scalable execution.
- Mentor team members and foster a collaborative, high-performance procurement culture.
- Embed procurement early in planning cycles to influence outcomes in a matrixed organization.
Key requirements- 10+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement with a focus on Marketing categories.
- Proven ability to negotiate complex agency and supplier contracts (MSAs, SOWs, pricing linked to performance).
- Strong understanding of marketing economics, agency compensation models, and production cost benchmarking.
- Excellent collaboration and influence skills without direct authority.
- Experience building scalable procurement processes, tools, and templates for repeatable execution.
- Bachelor's degree; MBA or CPSM/MCIPS a plus.
