Overview As a Business Financial Analyst at ABB, you will provide financial expertise to the Electrification Distribution Solutions plant in Mebane, NC. You will analyze performance, benchmark KPIs, and model scenarios to drive financial improvements. You'll collaborate with the Finance manager and operations value chain to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Responsibilities- Analyze business performance versus budget and forecast to propose improvement actions
- Benchmark key performance indicators with industry peers and ABB units
- Build financial models for hypotheses and overall impact on the business unit
- Support financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the organization
- Communicate findings to stakeholders and identify actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with finance and operations to drive financial performance
Key requirements- Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, Business, or relevant STEM field
- 8+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably electrical manufacturing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and SAP FI/CO/MM/PS modules related to manufacturing
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interest in project management, product costing, and manufacturing processes
- Strong documentation skills for process flows, training materials, and specs
- Work authorization to work in the US for ABB
