Overview In this role you will support tax planning and consulting for a diverse client base, from multinational corporations to startups. You'll work with cross-functional teams to research issues, draft memos, and manage compliance and advisory projects. You will mentor Associates and Interns and receive formal training to advance your tax expertise. This position sits within a global, inclusive firm that emphasizes development and client impact. Responsibilities- Prepare and review ASC 740 tax provisions
- Review federal and state tax returns; understand partnership taxation as a plus
- Collaborate with engagement team to identify complex client issues and propose solutions
- Draft technical tax memoranda
- Provide regular updates to clients
- Assist in project management of compliance and consulting engagements
- Supervise, train and mentor Associates and Interns
- Receive formal training and opportunities for additional training through internal and external resources
Key requirements- 2+ years of relevant tax experience
- Bachelor and/or relevant advanced degree (MAcc, MST, JD)
- Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree (Preferred)
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Advanced credential or desire to obtain advanced credential (CPA, JD)
- Self-starter with initiative; able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
