Tax Manager

In this role you will lead tax engagements for small to medium-sized businesses, guiding the tax function from planning to review. You will supervise a small tax team, coordinate with cross-functional staff, and deliver federal, state, local, and franchise tax services. The position offers a path toward partnership within a growing multi-office firm, with a focus on client advisory work and tax compliance. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to drive effective tax strategies and business consulting.

• Supervise 2-3 tax staffers and manage, direct, and review tax work
• Handle federal, state and local tax filings and franchise tax
• Provide tax review and quality control across engagements
• Deliver tax planning and business consulting for small to medium-sized businesses
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address tax needs and opportunities

• Public Accounting experience with supervision and tax review
• Experience in federal, state & local and franchise tax
• Strong client service and advisory capabilities
• Auto dealer client experience a plus
