Responsibilities- Provide functional management for the electrical engineering team, including recruitment, career development, performance assessments, and salary planning.
- Serve as the senior technical authority for electrical design across digital, analog, and power domains.
- Enforce Engineering Practice Manual (EPM) and Design Assurance standards to guide plans and engineering processes.
- Support program development, IMS planning and Basis of Estimate (BOE) generation.
- Lead and mentor engineers, fostering continuous skill growth and customer-focused delivery.
- Oversee design assurance activities, review technical data, and ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs into sensor systems.
- Manage technical risk, conduct trade studies, and promote cost-effective solutions.
- Contribute as an individual contributor on high-impact tasks while providing overall functional leadership.
Key requirements- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, including 5+ years in a senior or managerial role
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams in defense or aerospace programs
- Expertise in electronic design (digital, analog, power) and hardware development from components to full systems with Gb/s I/O
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance
