Overview In this role, you will lead quality management for a major tunnel project within the Gateway Program. You will define standards, implement a comprehensive quality plan, and drive continuous improvement across construction activities. You'll work with project teams, engineers, and subcontractors to address non-conformances and ensure regulatory and safety compliance. You will also train teams and report on quality performance to stakeholders, helping to protect project outcomes and public safety. This is a chance to shape quality culture on a landmark infrastructure program and collaborate across a multi-party delivery team.

Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management plan for the tunnel project, including QC procedures, inspections, and documentation
- Define quality standards and performance metrics for construction activities, materials, and installations
- Conduct inspections, audits, and quality assessments to identify non-conformances and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, subcontractors, and QC personnel to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and project specifications for tunnel construction
- Provide training and guidance on quality assurance best practices and processes
- Prepare quality reports, documentation, and performance indicators for stakeholders
Key requirements- Bachelor in Civil Engineering
- 7-10 years' proven experience in quality management on large infrastructure projects (preferably tunnel construction)
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, construction standards, and QA processes
- Familiarity with codes and regulations governing tunnel construction and underground works
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Quality management systems, ISO standards and documentation tools
- Certification in quality management (e.g., CQM, CQE) is a plus
