Overview As an Analog Circuit Design Engineer at AD-FIP within Intel's DTP, you will design and optimize analog and mixed-signal IPs for cutting-edge process nodes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance, power, area, and yield, shaping foundational IP for client, server, and networking technologies. You'll tackle circuit-level design, verification, and tape-out activities, translating architecture aims into robust silicon. Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement analog circuits and mixed-signal IPs (ADCs, DACs, voltage regulators, high-speed I/Os)
- Perform circuit-level design, simulation, and optimization to meet PPA and yield targets
- Create and validate floorplans, extract chip parameters, and simulate analog behavior models
- Develop test plans for design verification and evaluate results
- Collaborate with architecture and layout teams to maximize functionality and robustness
- Conduct tape-out activities for analog/mixed-signal circuits and ensure successful silicon implementation
- Analyze and resolve performance and circuit issues during design and post-silicon validation
- Serve as technical interface to process tech, IP engineers, and product teams to influence future node development
Key requirements- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 4+ years in analog/mixed-signal circuit design; or Master with 3+ years; or PhD with 1+ years
- Expertise in analog circuit design, simulation, and verification
- Proficiency in CMOS technologies and layout understanding for analog circuits
- Experience with tape-out processes for analog/mixed-signal circuits (ADCs/DACs)
